From Dental Chair To Bestselling Poet: How Rishbh Tiwari Is Redefining The Modern Creative Entrepreneur
The Mumbai based artist proves you don't have to choose between science and soul. You can heal with both a scalpel and a sonnet.
In an era where specialization is celebrated and career paths are expected to be linear, Rishbh Tiwari is doing something radically different. He has seamlessly built parallel careers as a certified dentist, soulful musician, and published poet, proving that creativity and science aren't mutually exclusive.
His debut poetry collection, Your Eyes Trip Me, released on March 6, 2026, has already garnered a 4.5 star rating on Amazon India, with readers praising its raw emotional honesty and accessible language. But the book is just the latest chapter in what's shaping up to be a masterclass in modern creative entrepreneurship.
THE UNLIKELY JOURNEY: FROM ROOT CANALS TO RADIO EDITS
Tiwari's story begins not on a stage, but in a dental clinic. After completing his dental degree, he made the unconventional choice to pursue music alongside his medical practice, a decision that would eventually redefine his life's work.
"I realized that both dentistry and music are about healing," Tiwari explains. "One heals the body, the other heals the heart. I didn't want to choose between them."
That philosophy became the foundation of his artistic brand. In 2023, he released his debut album Hopeless Romantic, followed by a string of emotionally resonant singles, including the viral hit Aankhon Ke Darmiyan (Lofi Mix), which has amassed over 1.6 million plays on Spotify. His signature sound, featuring minimalist acoustic arrangements with heartfelt Urdu and Hindi lyrics, carved out a unique space in India's crowded indie music scene.
THE BOOK THAT STARTED AS A DIARY
Your Eyes Trip Me isn't Tiwari's first foray into written expression, but it's his most polished and public. The 160 page collection, published by IndiePress, is structured as a three act love story: "For Her," "With Her," and "Without Her."
"This book is not just a collection of poems. It feels like reading the diary of a heart that has loved deeply," says one early reviewer, capturing the intimate tone that has resonated with readers.
What sets Tiwari's poetry apart is its accessibility. Unlike the dense, metaphor heavy verse that dominates literary circles, his work leans into simplicity and emotional directness. He writes about longing, connection, and heartbreak in language that feels conversational yet profound, a style that mirrors his musical approach.
"The title 'Your Eyes Trip Me' came from a moment of vulnerability," Tiwari shares. "It's about that feeling when someone's gaze disarms you completely, when you stumble not because of weakness, but because of overwhelming emotion."
Despite his creative success, Tiwari hasn't abandoned his dental practice. Instead, he's integrated both worlds into a cohesive personal brand.
"Patients often ask me about my music, and music fans ask me about dentistry," he says with a laugh. "I think people are drawn to the idea that you can be multidimensional. You don't have to fit into a single box."
Your Eyes Trip Me... is available on Amazon India (Kindle: ₹199 | Paperback: ₹249).
